Frequently Asked Questions

Why did I receive an email brief but no mobile push notification?

Push notifications must be enabled under your Communication Profile, and your device must permit notifications from the PermitArc app. Email summaries are delivered automatically by default.

Why didn’t I receive a proactive suggestion this week?

Quiet weeks are normal. If your active documents are up to date and no local municipal codes have changed for your storefront’s jurisdiction, the engine will not generate unnecessary notices.

Will the system repeatedly alert me about the same document or requirement?

No. Once you upload the requested document or dismiss the suggestion, the item is cleared from your active deck. Proactive suggestions only re-appear if new regulatory requirements apply to your classification.

Does PermitArc provide official legal advice?

No. PermitArc monitors, summarizes, and indexes public municipal records and your uploaded files. Always verify specific jurisdictional requirements with local authorities before taking regulatory action.
